My family moved to Waterbury a year ago on December 17th, so I am no longer in Madison. I still make the trip to visit friends and loved ones, so if you are home or in the area, please let me know! Jake, my new kitten, made the 10 hour drive from Toledo with me. I stopped at Tom's house on the way home to pick up deer meat from the deer I shot on opening day. That's the deer and I above. Tom loves to hunt and got me involved in it about 2 months after we started dating. I didn't get anything bow hunting, but I shot my first deer ever on the Opening Day of Deer Gun Season! I hadn't even sighted in with the same muzzleloader, and I got it on the first shot. I'll stop there with the details for those of you with weak stomaches, but needless to say, Tom was tickled. My Uncle George in Maine and my Uncle Bo here in Connecticut are so proud that they've been telling everyone they know. I've been handing out venison meat like it's my job. If you want ground venison, let me know! I got a bigger deer than Tom, so I have more meat. Haha.

Some of you haven't met Tom, so I've included a picture of he and I together. He is a police officer out in Ohio, which means that I am probably staying out in Ohio next year or for a few years! I am not quite sure yet-I could apply for jobs at Miami University after graduation, but there are lots of options, including Wright State University, Bowling Green, and of course, THE Ohio State University. Go Buckeyes! That's for Tara.

Since I may be away from the East Cost for a while, I figured I would start this up to share what's going on in my life with you all. I will try to include as many witty comments and cool photos as possible. I'll hold back on any more hunting shots...

Happy Holidays!
